Memory of my college years with my friend who was very close to my heart sent this card on the right to me and I designed it for my assignment in school Fashion Institute of Technology. Every time I see this artwork, it reminds me of her. Doing gouache and water colors is and has been my favorite medium for my artwork

This artwork is an abstract painting composed of vertical bands and blocks of color. Dominated by warm yellows and oranges, it also incorporates cooler blues and deep greens, creating a dynamic interplay between warm and cool tones. The texture reveals visible brushstrokes and layered applications of paint, with some areas appearing more opaque and others allowing hints of underlying hues to show through.

I've been painting vibrant abstract art for years using my favorite colors and shapes. This composition depicts movement & foliage using acrylic markers for the first time, with my usual go to Acrylic paints & Alcohol Ink Art. My form of art focuses on color and individual interpretation by the viewer!! Enjoy&127800 J. Lor Designs

I visited the Queens Zoo with my two grandchildren several summers ago, and snapped a photo of this beautiful creature. She?d come to the edge of the enclosure the original photo included my grandson?s hand touching the top of her head, but the painting is just her. I was fascinated by her eyes, and the expression on her face.

Swirling strokes of green, red, yellow, blue and purple collide and intermingle across the canvas, creating a sense of movement and vitality. The layering of these strokes generates a textured complexity that invites the eye to travel through different directions and depths. The way the colors blend and contrast against each other adds both harmony and tension to the piece, producing emotion that feels both chaotic and and exhilarating.

Title or Location: Authenticity
My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

Title or Location: My Favourite Toy
This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

Title or Location: Balnagask golf course
I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
